Nancy E (Simon) Staib

Nancy Elizabeth Staib Passed away peacefully on June 24,2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hattie and Gus Simon, her beloved husband of over 60 years, Arthur (Fuzzy) Staib, his son jonathan (Jonny) Staib and her great granddaughter, Mia Jordan McGee.  She leaves behind her loving children Susan Staib McGee (Arthur (AJ) & Erin) and Davis Charles Staib (Sharah, Emily& Jonathan (Jonny) and two great grandsons. Nancy, an only child, was born October 1, 1930 in Port Washington, New York. She attended Green Mountain College and later modeled prior to getting married. She raised 3 children in Huntington, NY. ,  baking cookies and spending summers at The Bay Club. She and her husband later retired to Hilton Head, South Carolina where they spent many happy years.  A Catholic funeral service will be held Monday July 20 at 9:45 AM at The Church of Saint Patrick, 400 Main St. Huntington, NY 11743, followed by an interment at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury NY 11590, at 12:00 PM.
