Funeral Services Saturday 11:00 am April 19. 2025  Shiloh Baptist Church 321 Frank St Terrell Texas  public viewing will be held on Friday April 18, 2025  from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm Davis Funeral Home 200 E Grove st Terrell Tx 75160. 

Reverend Lugene Williams Jr was born in Terrell, Tx, on February 2, 1949 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Lugene Williams Sr. and Bettie Jones Williams.  In addition to his parents he was prededed in death by one sister and one brother Richard Williams.  Lugene grew up in Terrell, Texas attended and graduated from Burnett High School in 1967.  He began his career in the Automobile industry with Buddy Allen Chevrolet in 1967 as well.  During his years with the industry he held several management positions:  " Make Tech," " First Black State inspection service writer", First Black Parts Manager."

Lugene accepted christ at an early age uniting with Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Terrell, Texas under the pastorial ship of the late W.D. Mins.  During this time Lugene married Betty Nickerson ( proceded in death) to this union two children were born Dianna Nickerson and Lugenna Lilly and four grandsons.  Eric Jr.( proceded in death).  He then attended Highland Baptist church Terrell, Tx.  under pastorialship of the late Reverend John Richardson Sr. 

Lugene later married his current love of his life Ardell Jackson no children were born to this union.  He inherited one daughter Kamesia (George) Lester, and five sons Anthony ( Earlene ) Jackson, Richard (Kathy) Jackson, Randy ( Domanique ) Jackson, Corwin " C. D. " ( Debra ) Hickmon, Dameon ( Monique ) Corsey.

He also unherited twenty three grand children and thirty four great grand children.  

Lugene had a special God mother whom he loved  dearly the late Ms. Bearnice Presley.  He gained bonus siblings. Robert, John, Bill Jr ( proceded in death ).  Carl Jimmy Ray Presley Noris Presley Simpson and Brenda Presley ( Proceded in death ). Sister-n-law.  Joyce Lewis Combs ( proceded in death ).  A half brother and sister.  Harold Dabney and Alesa Sterrett he leaves to them his love.  

A special niece Carol and Nephew Brickey Lewis.

A host of brother n laws, Sister in laws, Cousin, Nieces, Nephews, and Friend.

Lugene will be truly missed by his grandchildren they call themselves the favorites!!  Marcus " Pete " Shawana " Punkin ", Breanna, Karoneshia " Ms. 1", Jadyon, Ra zayia, Miracle. Makayla, Levi Kason,  " KJ, " Caleigh " Velma Lee".
